the snow may have gone but its still pretty cold outside, certainly need to wrap up with cashmere and a bit of tweed

The picture in the Times at the weekend reminded me of how fantastic the tweed coats are younger ones

When my children were younger they lived in theirs! Whatever they were doing I knew they would always be warm and dry.

still no snow here in Worcestershire but its gone jolly cold! Good weather for wrapping up in tweed and cashmere.

We are in admin mode in the Gilinix office, the office is mucked out , application forms in (well most of them) and production meetings planned, colours done and theres time to sit update the website.

Only two weeks until Valentines day and although we haven't done a sale yet this year we are offering a box of 4 beautiful hearts, free with every order over £100. The hearts make stunning place names for a romantic table or pretty drawer or cupboard decorations for any time of the year.

Also offering an amazing £10 off each pink and blue polo belt until Valentines day, only have 85 and 90cm sizes left now.

pleased to say the images are now loaded for the new leather accessories, under the heading 'leather and tweed gifts', thought that was a good menu heading. These beautiful products are all handmade here in Worcestershire by a very talented lady who lives literally across the fields (as the crow flies) her work is world famous so I am totally delighted Stephanie has agreed to make a collecion for Gilinix. We are working on a selection of items used everyday, from key fobs to wallets but with with oooodles of style and colour, taking my tweed designs and co ordinating with leather and suede, totally unique and very exclusive! The initial selection of red and black (with valentines day in mind) is available to order on line from today.

Very excited about the new leather and tweed gifts joining (when I've worked out how to add a new category on the website) the spring collection. Luxurious leather combined with soft GiliNix tweed to produce luxury wallets, credit card holders, key rings (not any old key ring!) glasses cases (not just for my benefit), all handmade here in Worcestershire. With more ideas under development. to give you a taste of things to come... oh nearly forgot to mention, had a fantastic day in the shop. Thanks to everyone who came in. Added the tweed cushions and draught excluders, along with some new shirts and scarves. Field and Style, the Square, Stow on the Wold...well worth a visit x
